Roasted Burger and Green Rice Creamy

Has anyone noticed how I love green? Yes, the food and the use clothes very green, hoping that one day all encherguem its proper value and do something really significant, after all, no green there is life.

This is a simple recipe but “wins” everyone here at home, after my son loves homemade burger, my husband and I creamy rice broccoli. Try it !

 Ingredients:

Rice:
1 cup rice
2 cups water
150g broccoli (ninja or regular)
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons (soup) olive oil
2 tablespoons (soup) heavy cream
1 tablespoon (soup) butter
1 tablespoon (soup) grated cheese

Burger *:
300g lean ground meat (duck taste)
1 medium carrot
1 small onion
1 clove garlic
parsley
salt
oregano

* This hamburger normally do for children to eat with rice or pasta. To eat a snack of bread, I recommend a more traditional recipe. Any day I´ll post here too.

Method of preparation:

For Hamburger, place in a bowl carrot, onion and grated garlic, chopped parsley and all the other ingredients, stir by hand until blended. Make small balls (4 cm diameter), put on the board and knead by hand until the desired width. For rice, saute garlic, rice and broccoli in olive oil, put the hot water and season to taste. When you start getting close to the level of rice, lower the heat and cover for 5 minutes. Open, put all other ingredients, cover again and wait 3 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave covered for another 5 minutes.

Note: This is not a risotto but a creamy rice. Anyway serve right after the end, very warm.

 To give more flavor to the hamburger, I put a zucchini compote spoon on because I had already done, but an eggplant compote or mango chutney is also delicious.
